           Job Overview: 
The Odoo DevOps Engineer will be responsible for managing and maintaining the Odoo ERP system and related applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). They will work closely with developers, QA engineers, and IT operations teams to ensure the system is running smoothly and efficiently while implementing cost-saving and backup plans. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Odoo development, DevOps principles, and AWS infrastructure and services, as well as a solid understanding of Linux server administration, scripting languages, and automated testing, build, and deployment pipelines. This Position Is required in Istanbul.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Odoo ERP system and related applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Develop and implement deployment strategies for Odoo releases and updates on AWS.

  • Monitor and optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability on AWS.

  • Develop and maintain automated testing, build, and deployment pipelines on AWS.

  • Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and IT operations teams to troubleshoot issues and implement fixes on AWS and Odoo.

  • Ensure security, compliance, and data privacy requirements are met for both Odoo and AWS.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Odoo and AWS.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in Odoo development, DevOps, and AWS.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to the development team for Odoo and AWS-related issues.

  • Manage and configure other Amazon services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda as needed to support the Odoo system.

  • Implement and monitor AWS cost-saving plans to optimize expenses.

  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans for both Odoo and AWS services to ensure high availability and data integrity.

  • Carrying out any tasks entrusted by the direct manager in a manner that does not conflict with the interests of the Company.


          Qualification: 
    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.


    Experience: 
    3+ years of experience.


          Skills:

•       Strong experience with Odoo development, customization, and integration

•       Experience with Odoo deployment and configuration management tools (e.g., Docker, Ansible, Kubernetes)

•       Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and services such as EC2, RDS, S3, and Lambda

•       Strong understanding of Linux server administration and scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)

•       Strong understanding of DevOps principles and methodologies

•       Experience with automated testing, build, and deployment pipelines

•       Experience with monitoring and optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability

•       Knowledge of security, compliance, and data privacy requirements for both Odoo and AWS

•       Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning

•       Strong problem-solving and communication skills
