Job Overview: As a Functional Consultant, you’ll assist in the design, development, and implementation of various business apps within a major digital transformation program using Odoo ERP as the core underpinning solution. The role holder acts as the custodian of the ERP solution, expected to work hand in hand with the functional leads and technical team in ensuring the optimal solution is designed that meets both the business operational needs and the lowest possible total cost of ownership.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

·       Organize and follow up on Odoo implementations, analyze customer needs and help with the configuration of the software.

·       Deliver functional training sessions (prepare materials), negotiate the required resources, and follow and check the development aspect.

·       Owns the decision rights on technology platform choices including platform identification and evaluation including compliance, responsible for the discovery of new technology and its applicability and relevance to Odoo ERP

·       Interfaces with client SMEs on the technical matter and is responsible for technical accuracy to Odoo ERP architecture leads implementation and deployment of the architectural choice in a way that’s actionable and relevant, as well as Leads client conversations through need-gap analysis, business process design, testing, cutover and provides advice on business process impacts.

·       Carrying out any tasks entrusted by the direct manager in a manner that does not conflict with the interests of the Company.

 

Qualification:

·       Bachelor’s degree – B.E./ B.Tech / BCA

·       Master’s degree – M.Tech / MCA; highly preferred

·       Certifications preferred: PMP / Odoo Functional Certification

 

 

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar role/2+ years in Odoo ERP is a plus.

 

 

Skills: 

 

·       Exceptional process management and business strategy planning skills

·       Ability to engage and collaborate with senior leadership on key business initiatives

·       Has expertise in different business processes and the respective module in Odoo platform

·       Should have both; business and Odoo application understanding of how a high preforming global operation should function

·       Strong ability to perform requirement gathering and writing into FRD (Functional requirement documents)

·       Strong Quantitative and Analytical skills

·       Exceptional communication and influencing skills

·       Result oriented and process improvement driven
